Winter 2016-17 Head Coaches
Bill Homann – 8th grade
Bill is in his 2nd season as a head coach in the Woodinville basketball program, leading last year's 8th grade team to a 2nd-place finish in the Eastside Travel League. He brings over 25 years of basketball coaching experience gained from coaching in most of the high school gyms in the state. He was the administrative assistant at NCAA Division II Seattle Pacific for 5 years, and he has head coaching experience at Shoreline Christian High School and Concordia Lutheran School. He was varsity assistant/JV coach at Tyee High School, Ballard High School, Watson Groen Christian, and Seattle Christian. For the past two springs, he has coached with the North City AAU program. Bill works as a Special Education Paraeducator for the Northshore School District, and is a Bothell resident.
Kevin Crawford – 7th grade
Kevin enters his 4th season as a head coach in the Woodinville basketball program. He led the 6th grade team last season to a 3rd-place finish in the Eastside Travel League. His passion for basketball is evident in his coaching, and he can often be seen on the court out-running the kids during practice. Not content with the amount of time he already spends on the court as a coach and player, he is also in training become a certified basketball referee.
Kevin coaches the Woodinville High School JV team in the fall league, as well as in the North City AAU program at the 7th Grade and 16U high school levels. A 2007 graduate of Juanita High School, he was recently married to Monica Jimenez, a kindergarten teacher at Woodin Elementary. He and Monica live with their new daughter in Bothell.
Scott Bullock – 6th grade
A well-known name as head coach of the Woodinville High School girls basketball team, Scott is in his 2nd season coaching in the Woodinville boys program, leading the 5th-grade team last year to a 5th-place finish in the Eastside Travel League. Scott has coached the Lady Falcons for the past 10 seasons, winning three Kingco league championships (2005-06, 2010-11, & 2011-12). He was voted Kingco Coach of the Year for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. He has tremendous passion for the game of basketball and working with high school athletes. Scott is 1986 graduate of BYU where he earned a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Spanish. He later completed the majority of his MBA at Seattle U. He spent 17 years working as a software developer for Microsoft on their desktop database product -- "Microsoft Access". He now works on analytics and scouting for the Charlotte Hornets. Scott and his wife Keri are the parents of five children. Trey and Warren the youngest still remain at home while Bryant, Jamie, and Kacie are all off pursuing college educations. Scott is originally from the state of Oregon where he was a 1980 graduate of Lake Oswego HS.
Trent Giacomi – 5th grade Green/ETL
Trent enters his 3rd season coaching in the Woodinville basketball program, serving as head coach on the 4th grade team in 2015-2016. He was raised in Woodinville, growing up playing youth basketball in the Woodinville Select program through high school, where he graduated from WHS in 1994. Trent enjoys giving back to his community, consistently volunteering or coaching in various youth sports over the past 8 years. He has 7 years of basketball head coaching experience across Woodinville, NYBA, i9 and YMCA youth basketball programs. Trent works in Buying for Costco, where he has been for over 20 years. Trent and his wife Missy are the parents of three children - Gage, Talan & Skylar.
Matt Flinn – 5th grade Blue/PEAK
Matt enters his first season coaching in the Woodinville basketball program. He has coached youth basketball for the past 3 years through the NYBA and involvement with Home Court, as well as coaching in the Woodinville lacrosse program for the past 2 years.
Matt grew up in Indiana, which is where his belief in the traditional motion offense and fundamentally sound half-court defense was ingrained at a young age. He played basketball for 4 years at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, where he was the co-captain for his junior and senior seasons.
Matt is excited to join the Woodinville program as it allows him to create a passion for the game that makes kids want to play next year while they build skills that will allow them to play for many years to come.
Matt lives in Woodinville where he owns a State Farm Agency and loves being involved in the community. He and his wife Amy have three children -- Drew, Luke, and Sam.
